Red Dot Award for the »Klimamarkt«

When climate protection and design meet, when unusual ideas are developed and implemented with enthusiasm, this can end up with a Red Dot. This is what happened in Bremen in summer 2013. »2050 – Dein Klimamarkt« (2050 – Your Climate Market) received the Red Dot Design Award, the globally recognized quality seal for good design.

The international jury was impressed by the cardboard experience of Klimamarkt shopping. The pop-up shop concept, almost entirely made of recyclable cardboard, invites you to the new CO₂ shopping experience. With a shopping basket, the customer buys climate-friendly products at various theme sites and learns playfully how his shopping habits can contribute to climate protection.

Out of 6,800 submissions from 43 countries, only about 500 works were among the best. Project manager Anne Götzel, responsible designer Asja Beckmann, and all other team members are looking forward together with our long-standing client energiekonsens to the prestigious design award.

The Klimamarkt is touring the Bremen districts and the surroundings and can be found from September 2nd, 2013 on in Bremen-Vegesack. Touring schedule and further information about the Klimamarkt can be found here.
