A new role, a shining example for others, a particularly high expectation: Mercedes-Benz plant Bremen became a competence centre for the C-Class model range. An award and a challenging task at the same time. A repositioning as a leading plant can only work if the entire workforce takes the challenge – motivated and proudly.

Members of the senior management worked out the framework for the plant’s new mission statement using metaphors and even music: »Rockin’ All Over The World«. In several workshops at unusual places such as a gym and a sports ground, the working class was brought on board. Highlight: the follow-me-car – a symbol for the leadership role of Mercedes-Benz plant Bremen as a role model for other plants in China, South Africa, and America.
