Germany is presented with the pavilion »balancity«, the city of ideas and equilibrium. In the focus area »Science«, Jacobs University is represented with its »Best Practice Higher Education«exhibit. We have been responsible for the consultation, the concept, the design, and the planning.
The innovative multimedia installation, based on an intelligent presentation technology, enables the visitor to take an informative tour through the campus world and to experience the spirit of Jacobs University. The touch-activated navigation on the table offers the possibility to select information and presentations from the university topics »campus, »community", »study«, and »science«. A motion-sensitive infrared camera over the table tracks the hand positions, controls the projection, and provides the visitor with the desired information.
