»Educating teachers – shaping the future« is the main topic of the 19th edition of the yearbook. Nine out of twelve of the university's faculties educate for all types of school, all in all there are 16 teacher training courses. The structures and requirements for teacher training are complex – lecturer and students tell in the university yearbook and in four films how the university faces the challenges.

Our conceptual approach is based on creating a basic understanding of the complexity of teacher training by looking at the big picture. The films serve to get an impression of the variety of school forms and challenges the university has to deal with. The texts in the yearbook illustrate the active handling and the solutions of University of Bremen.
We have been supporting the yearbook in concept and design for 20 years. In each issue, we reinterpret the guiding theme.
