18th edition of University of Bremen’s yearbook available

Since 1997, we have been planning and designing the yearbook for University of Bremen. This year’s issue was presented yesterday during the »Jahrbuchempfang« (Yearbook reception) at Bremen Fraunhofer IFAM. The guiding theme is »cooperation«. Cooperation is an elementary component for University of Bremen’s success. It is a large network of people and institutions that work together.

We have set ourselves the task of visually interpreting and shaping the guiding theme every year. For issue 18, we have asked people who are closely connected with the university to make the »essence of a cooperation« visible together: Head of Airbus Bremen Dr. André Walter, team neusta directors Carsten Meyer-Heder and Dirk Schwampe, political scientist Frank Nullmeier, and engineer Lucio Colombo Ciacchi, as well as historian Dr. Eva Schöck-Quinteros, and actor Peter Lüchinger, amongst others.

As diverse as the people and the nature of the dialogues were, everyone agreed: trust, transparency and sustainability are basic prerequisites for successful cooperation. In short: You are only going to make it as a team.

The design tools: chalk, board, and dialogue.
The place: GfG’s iD-Werkstatt (iD Workshop).
The result: A cooperative yearbook.

The results for viewing and reading in detail can be found here.
The film on the subject here.

We have still more to tell!
